Post subject: Download Help for Convekta Software (Chessok)
PostPosted: Sun Mar 18, 2007 11:50 am
Hi,

Convekta (now known as ChessOK) has made many of their training software programs available for download. This is especially great news for those who live outside the USA. Here is a link to the downloads available:

http://www.chesscentral.com/cat/database.htm

But, some people are having trouble with the installation so I thought I might save you some frustration by supplying this hint:

1) Download the file
2) Unpack it. After unpacking the program the folder CT-ART 3.0 (or any other Convekta download) will be created.
3) Inside of the folder CT-ART 3.0 there are folders 'FONT' and "ENGLISH" which should be copied to a CD. CD catalogue looks like the following:

English
FONTS

4) Double click on the ct-art.exe file in the folder 'ENGLISH' on the CD to start the installation process.
