Dear Chess Friends,

in the last weeks I invested some time and set up a page about the history of electronic chess computer. It includes information about the minor chess computer manufaturers like Mephisto, Novag, Saitek, Scisys and others. There is a history section which will grow in the next weeks. You can play online chess in your browser, read the news including the most interesting eBay finds of the week or use the link section to find other nice chess places.

I am born in Bremen, Germany and live in Berlin now. Please excuse my english - I am not a native speaker. It would be great if you correct the content if there is something wrong. You can mail me or send me a private message here at the Forum.

I hope you like the page, please visit chesscomputer.org

Greetings,

Oliver

Hi Oliver.

That's a very nice website you have. I remember my Chess Challenger 7 with great fondness! :)

Thank you, have fun.

I have removed some photos in the last 24 hours on request by the creators. Here is my missing list:

Applied Concepts Inc. - Destiny Mini Master | Prodigy
Excalibur - Excalibur Explorer
Excalibur - Excalibur Chess Express
Fidelity Electronics - Gambit
SciSys - Intelligent Chess

If anyone has one of this computer I would be happy to get a photo of it, please contact me here
