Hey , i play chess always against my computer. The problem is that sometimes it choices to play so called "Modern Defence" with the black

1. d4 d6 2. ...?

I have enough literature about the chess theory but i dont know how to play against 1. d4 d6 :?:

Another openning that my com choices is

1. d4 d5 2. Nbd2...?

So could yo write me a few variants with 10-15 moves for the two opennings to know how to counteract my com this moment on? Please, help me out!!!

Transpose into the Pirc with 2.e4.

1.d4 d5 2.Nd2 Bf5 3.e3 e6 4.Ngf3 Nd7 5.c4 c6 And the position resembles the Queen's Gambit Declined. 6.Be2 Be7 7.b3 Ngf6 8.Nh4 Bg6 9.Nxg6 hxg6 10.Bb2 Bb4 11.O-O And now you can castle queen-side and attack down the h-file.

The Rat. Actually, as black I play 1…d6 in response to 1. d4 so that I can bypass the Trompowski lines or lure a d4 player into playing a Pirc, which is my specialty. I do prefer 1…d6 to 1…g6 since it is actually better for black to defer fianchettoing the bishop in some lines, but there is one other problem with the move, namely not that it gives white a hand in the center but that 1. d4 d6 2. Bf4!? Leads to some “Anti King’s Indian systems” where black would rather have his pawn on d5.
