|Post subject:||Database problems|
I have been given a 2010 Mega-Data base produced by Chessbase. I also own Fritz 13. I am trying to do the following:
1. Enter games manually from my chess books.
2. Make and open a new file for every book. Then each game of that book would be saved in that new file.
3. I had hoped the games that I manually entered would go to Autosave. From Autosave I thought I could put each of them in there own file. However I have not been able to do these tasks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe I don't interpret the question correctly, but why don't you save your manually entered game directly in it's own database? E.g. You want to enter all the games from the book "my 60 memorable games" in a database called Fischer60games.cbh. Simply create that database (file > new > new database) , input the moves from the first game in the book and save it into that database (file > save) and you're good to go.
