If I have a queen on the board then I'll promote to rook. I've stalemated too many times by having two queens. Besides my favorite way to get checkmate is to walk the king off the board with a rook and queen.

There is nothing more frustrating than getting your opponent down to just his king, then stalemating. :roll:

No, 2 Queens is the easiest Checkmate in Chess – you just have to watch where your opponents King is – of course in an OTB or CC game, most people would have resigned long before you even promoted, but people online will fight till the bitter end.

Just check out the board before you promote to a Queen – has your opponents King got a square to go to once you’ve done so? If he has, theres no reason not to promote to a second Queen - you can’t stalemate once he’s made that move
