What would be better with a board full of nothing but 14 pawns (7 each) and white has a Q but black has 2 Rs? I traded my Q for his 2 Rs was this sound or nutz?

Hi CowboyNoel, welcome to the forum. :)

Although many players are understandably reluctant to part with their Queen, two Rooks are just as powerful. Depending on the position, they can be MORE powerful - it helps if your rooks are well coordinated and have targets (like weak pawns) to attack.
