I wouldn't be surprised if it's "my 60 memorable games" by Fischer, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the research! I have been weekly trying to find that product. It was listed in many software supply houses as coming soon and recently it just disappeared. Now I know why. That answers my biggest question of why it was so cheap. Really is too bad! I too was looking forward to an action p...

Thank you. Any idea on if Junior 12 is the newest edition and will be for awhile? Or if there will be a new Junior coming out soon? If a new version is to be released within a few months I would rather wait to order. The release cycle of chess programs is known only to the programmers and Chessbase...

Hello. I have been out of the computer chess loop for awhile and I do not know if the most recent Junior and the Junior that is going to compete in the WCCC this year is Junior 12, or if they are introducing a new Junior engine at this years tournament and will be available for retail soon after. S...

This time it's a game between Stockfish on my iPad2 and Shredder on my Android Galaxy smartphone. Google versus Apple! And Apple (or was it Stockfish?) won. :) It's PGN so copy and paste it together with my idiotic remarks.* [Event "?"] [Site "?"] [Date "15.08.15"] [Rou...

whatever move) and 6. Qxg7#

Weird mistake, 1. Re8 is indeed the winning move AFAICS.

I think 1. Re8 Qd6 2. Rc8 Nc6 (or Nb7) 3. h3 g6 looks to me the only way to avoid mate.

Hello All, I am using CB Light 2007 Premium. I am trying to use the position search to find games in which a White pawn has reached the 7th rank: Using the "or" board, I place White pawns on each square of the 7th, set first = 1, last = 100. It does not work. If I search for a White rook ...

Where there is Crafty, there's problems. J. I don't think the Crafty guy did something wrong,he was not accused of cheating like Mr Rajlich obviously did, who, bye the way, also cheated on his paying customers. Remember Rybka 3.1! Bad habits never die! Luckytrebor I don't think Bob Hyatt did someth...

Can anyone tell me how 'Alekhine' is pronounced in Russian? And is Tarrasch pronounced /tarrASH/ ? As far as I know Alekhine is pronounced Al-YAY-gheen with gh indicating a guttural g and Al between "Al" and "All". I suspect that in Russia they would pronounce it AL-yay-gheen, b...
