Only if you want/must to use Aquarium GUI, you cannot use the R3-book at the same time. (At least currently...)

First of all You should visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budapest_Gambit The site itself is a veritable course of Budapest Gambit/Defence. From there I picked the following recommendations: Two books: (1) Moskalenko, Viktor (2007). The Fabulous Budapest Gambit. New In Chess. ISBN 978-90-5691-224-...

Yes! It does take into account material imbalance and is the result of the evaluation in the end of the mentioned variation. Initially white typically have the first mov advantage of around 0.3. Add to this the won knight +3.00 and lost pawn -1.00 and you come out with an evaluation around +2.3 as h...

I don't know the history of this, but would like to be informed if someone cares to do so, or knows anything about this version. Is it something Zap sold to HIARCS? Don't know, do you? But I do know... 8) Paderborn is a ...

As I said before, I thought that commercial CB9 (and earlier) as well as Bookup have this feature. Now I am not quite sure they have a feature of random selection and autoresponse. Certainly there should be as many tactics trainer CD's from CB work this way. Perhaps Steve has written a quide about t...

I prefer black, because my dirt does not show so easily and because of the chance to say :"Is that all you got?" after white's first move... Also because the game analogue (I think invented by GM Suba): - "Say a number, any number" - "Ok, 72" -"Well, I say 73. I wi...

I believe you can prepare these sort of exercises with commercial programs such as ChessBase or BookUp. If you like to download a free program, that allows you to build your own problems set, then at least the following are good: The Palview by Eric Bentzen: http://www.enpassant.dk/chess/palview/ind...
